Although the elections dated below have already passed, this information is being left on purpose because the un-dated parts of it are generally applicable to ANY election. It will be up-dated prior to the next election.

Absentee Process:

1. Submit application:
A. Fill out in person at County Clerk's Office, or
B. Call County Clerk's Office, 501 622 3610, to request application by
mail, or
C. Fax request to County Clerk's office, 501 624 0665
2. If ballot is available when
the application is submitted, it can be picked up at that time.
3. Seven days prior to election
is the cut-off
date for requesting an absentee ballot.
4. Ballot may be mailed to
voter, picked up by voter, or picked up by a "bearer"; bearer may pick up
only 2 ballots!
5. Ballot may be returned by
mail, in person by voter, or by "bearer."
6. Ballot must be received by
County Clerk no later than election day.
7. Clerk discourages receiving
ballot and voting then in person as that is the purpose of Early Voting.

"bearer."
